CW713R, designated CuZn37Mn3Al2PbSi, is a high-strength brass alloy engineered for applications requiring excellent wear resistance and mechanical durability. The alloy combines manganese, aluminium, lead, and silicon to deliver superior strength compared to standard brasses, making it well suited for demanding mechanical components.
Typical applications include gears, transmission parts, shift mechanisms, and other components exposed to friction, load, and continuous mechanical stress. Its robustness and long service life make CW713R a preferred choice in environments where reliability and strength are critical.
CW713R is not dezincification-resistant and should therefore not be used in aggressive or water-exposed corrosive environments.
