The alloy contains approximately 3% lead, which significantly improves its machinability, allowing for high-speed cutting, excellent chip breaking, and long tool life. This makes CW614N a preferred choice for precision-turned components produced in large volumes.<\/p><p>Common applications include screws, bolts, nuts, gears, and a wide range of fittings, as well as components used in electrical connectors and mechanical assemblies.
